Question #79

Which of the following with regards to teres minor is true?

Teres minor runs from the edge of the infraspinous fossa of the scapula to the lower edge of the greater tuberosity of the humerus. It is a rotator cuff muscle and as such is important in shoulder adduction. It can also laterally rotate the humerus.

Nerve supply is from the axillary nerve (which also supplies deltoid).

The inferior border of teres major marks the end of the axillary artery.

The infraspinatus fascia covers both teres minor and infraspinatus.
