Which vertebra is shown in the diagram?

C1 is also known as the atlas, while C2 is known as the axis. C1 has no body as embryologically the centrum, which later forms the part of the body, fuses with the centrum of C2 to form the odointoid peg. It also has the widest transverse process of all the cervical vertebra.
